Job Description

As a key member of the HRIS Programs team, this role partners with HR business owners on HR system implementation projects related to Compensation Planning (Peoplefluent & Workday) (60%) and Talent Management (Workday) (40%). This is a hands-on role which requires the ability to lead projects and perform detailed and analytical and technical tasks at the same time

HRIS Project Responsibilities (70% of time)

  • With management support, lead HR system implementation projects for annual Compensation Bonus program. Lead meetings & provide regular project updates. Responsible for delivering project tasks on time

  • Act as a key project resource for other HR Program related projects including Merit, Equity and Field OTE planning, and Talent Management (Performance, Goals, Development and Talent Profiles)

  • Responsibilities include requirements gathering and documentation, business process mapping and redesign, system configurations, testing, deployment, cutover coordination, training and system post go live stabilization

  • Coordinate with system vendors to complete assigned project deliverables including translating business requirements to system requirements, documenting requirements, system configurations and business processes. Perform gap analysis on all requirements and identify impact on existing system infrastructure and business process

  • Closely partner with HR business owners and system vendors for data conversion/data load activities. Develop rigorous auditing process to ensure data accuracy is achieved

  • Develop advanced metrics and analytical reports (involving calculated fields) for Executives, HR, Compensation and Managers

  • Participate in system testing including development of test strategy documentation, write test scripts, coordinate testing resources, compile test completion metrics and test script execution

  • Assist in the development of change management, communication and training plans. Develop training scenarios for different users.

  • Organize and maintain project documentations

  • Coordinate with Compensation, Global Talent Development and other HRIS team members to develop transition plan from project close out to ongoing system maintenance through proper training and documentation

  • Liaise with HRIS Integration team to identify opportunities or impact of system integration

  • Facilitate meetings for project planning, discovery, prototype review and testing sessions. Maintain meeting minutes that are actions and decisions focus

  • Lead trainings for Compensation and Talent Management system support for end users

HRIS System On Going Responsibilities (30% of time)

  • Provide support to Peoplefluent and Workday maintenance for Bonus program and Talent Management programs (configuration set up, business processes and security)

  • Develop metrics report for system usage and trending analysis

  • During performance review cycles, manage the flow of performance review forms as needed

  • Participate in the regular review and prioritization of HR systems configuration projects

  • Develop and maintain system and program administration documentation; update documentation on a frequent basis

  • Identify opportunities for improving the effectiveness of processes, systems, and reports

  • Resolve system issues for Compensation Planning programs and Talent Management as escalated by HR Source

  • Review functional enhancement in Peoplefluent and Workday; work with HRIS managers, Compensation, Global Talent Development team and other HR business owners to prioritize rollout of new functionalities

  • Manage system enhancement requests through proper documentation and follow through with vendors

  • Document internal processes and audit procedures to ensure data integrity of systems

  • Assists with testing new functionality, configuration changes, updates, etc.

  • Conduct troubleshooting analysis; Documents system errors and issues clearly/with screenshots; escalates for review & ticket creation.

  • Resolve system issues for Bonus Program and Talent Management as escalated by HR Source

  • Develop relationships with various business functions in HR, IT, Finance, and other business groups to ensure open communication regarding upcoming projects, resource requirements, and project participation

  • Escalate process change requests, system enhancements or any other major resource requests to HRIS management team for approval / prioritization

  • Collaborate with HRIS Reporting Analyst and Integration Analyst to understand reporting initiatives

  • Support HRIS Reporting Analyst with reporting technology to ensure any critical issues in relation to HR Programs are resolved quickly

Position Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Business, Information Systems, or related area

  • Work experience with HR Compensation and Talent Management programs and processes

  • 5+ years of HRIS experience required; HR Compensation and Talent Management application experience such as Peoplefluent, Workday or SuccessFactors required; Workday HCM experience a plus

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple demands and thrive in a collaborative, ambiguous and fast paced environment

  • Experience in aligning systems and processes to business needs; have an analytical and logical approach to problem solving

  • Must be a self-starter and independent team-player

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with employees at all levels

  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure and time constraints

  • Ability to manage change effectively; always mindful of technology, business processes, and systems implications

  • Must exhibit strong security and confidentiality practices

  • Strong relationship building skills in order to acquire trust of business partners

  • Experience using MS Visio, MS Project Plan and MS Word; strong expertise in MS Excel required;
