As a security analyst, you will be responsible for tracking reporting on threat actors, monitoring network and OSINT resources for early warning indicators. Our team defends against existing threats and uses threat actor profiling to prevent future threats.
Individuals who should apply for this position have a minimum of: 2-3 years of advanced OS level experience, strongly favoring Linux 2-3 years of advanced Network experience, including PCAP analysis and full understanding of the OSI model 1-2 years of coding experience in Perl, Python, Ruby, C or C++ 2-3 years of prior hands on security experience with in depth knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, Content Filters, OS and Network Hardening, Packet Analysis, SIEM deployment/monitoring and tuning 1-2 years of VMware product experience, vSphere, NSX, as well as end user applications such as Fusion and Workstation. 1-2 years of Incident Response experience Strong Communications Skills to both Customers and Executive Leadership Experience working on a geographically distributed team Commitment to on time success
Monitoring and response of Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS/HIDS)
Tune SIEM to identify previously unknown threats
Malware Analysis to extract Indicators of Compromise
Deployment and monitoring of Honeypots and Tarpits
Firewall and Content Filter Rule Review and Analysis
Antivirus and File Integrity tool administration
Threat Attacker Analysis and Profiling
Providing support and assistance during internal and external audits
Training and evangelizing information security to Executive leaders, Engineers and Users
